This rose was my first attempt with Copic markers. Background is a wash of watercolor. (8x8)
Roses have been a focal point in my artwork since the beginning. During a darker phase of life, I drew this black rose; yet, I couldn't help but add a splash of color in the center. As long as there is life, hope will always exist.
